This notice explains the types of personal information Munch Store uses to operate orders, prevent misuse and provide support.
Information Munch Store may use
This can include your account identity, name, email, phone, saved addresses, order contents, prices, timestamps, payment state and provider reference, reward and credit ledger entries, reviews, support messages, authorised seller information, security events and basic technical information.
For an assisted request, this can also include the address snapshot used for that order, restaurant, basket details, notes, two to four private screenshots, order chat and completion history. Never upload passwords, complete card details, bank logins or security codes.
Complete payment credentials are entered in the chosen provider's protected experience and are not collected by Munch Store.
Why it is used
Information is used to take steps requested before a purchase, perform the sales contract, deliver digital items, answer support requests, maintain security, prevent fraud, keep legally required records and defend legal claims.
Where consent is the appropriate basis, it will be requested separately and can be withdrawn. Munch Store does not use order details to send marketing without the required permission.
Who information is shared with
An assigned Munch Seller receives the order information reasonably needed for fulfilment. Sellers do not receive raw card or bank credentials and should not see unrelated customer or seller records. Relevant information may also be shared with enabled payment providers, hosting and private storage services, transactional email services once configured, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required.
Retention and security
Order and accounting records may be kept for the periods required by tax, consumer and financial rules. Assisted-order details and uploads are retained only as long as reasonably needed to fulfil the order, handle support and meet record-keeping duties. Private order links should not be shared. Appropriate organisational and technical safeguards are used, although no online service can promise absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer of your personal information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you remain concerned about how information is handled.
Sessions and browser storage
Munch Store uses browser storage for the standard bag, draft order progress and unsent chat text. Authentication and protected API access use secure platform session information. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should not be set without the choice required by law.
